Topic: Remember Your Creator…..Part 1

Introduction
It is the duty of every creation of the Lord to remember their Creator, most especially we human being that are created in His image.
Most people believe that there is a Creator that created them, but they neither remember nor appreciate Him. Everyone is pursuing their own interest; they are concern about their survival and how to realize basic necessity of life (food, clothing and shelter). They are so engrossed to the extent that they neither have time for their Creator nor remember Him.
Presently, the primary concern of human being is how to be successful in life and become important personality in their community. They focus on the vanities of this world while neglecting and forgetting their Creator. Such people that forget the Lord God who created them are like a river that forgets its source which will eventually dry up.
The Bible stated that we must remember now our Creator in the days of our youth, before difficult days come, and the years draw near when we will say “I have no pleasure in them” Ecclesiastes 12: 1. The youth must not say it is when I am old that I will remember my Creator because no one knows tomorrow. The aged people must start to remember their Creator right now before death comes, so that God can overlook their mistakes of the past and accept them into Glorious Home when they sleep.
If you remember God your Creator, you are not doing Him any favour, but you are committing Him to save you, preserve your life and provide for your needs. Whereas those who forget the Lord are doing themselves a great disservice and such people are the architect of their troubles/problems.
Whoever
forgets his/her Creator has created an opportunity for the Devil to afflict
him/her. Such people cannot inherit the
Remember The Lord God Your Creator
You need to remember the Lord God Your Creator so that you will be successful and live a fulfilled live. Also at the end of your journey in this world you will be accommodated in His glorious kingdom.
The
Holy One of
The Creator of the Universe: Remember Your Creator who is:
· Omnipotent: He is very powerful and all power belongs to Him.
· Omnipresent: He is present everywhere under the sky at same time.
· Omniscient: He knew and understands everything. It is written that “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He never grows weak or weary. He understanding is unsearchable Isaiah 40: 28.
The God that created the rich and the poor: It is the Lord God Your Creator that created everything both living things and non living things on earth and in heaven. He created both genders male and female. He created the poor and the rich. In addition, He created people with different shades of skin Proverbs 22: 2.
The Bible testifies that the name of our Creator is the Lord of Hosts and He is the One that created the solar system, universe and the heavens Jeremiah 10:16, 51: 19.
God rules forever: Our Creator sits enthroned forever because there is no one like Him. His fame will continue for all the time to come and the remembrance of His Holy name shall be through all generations Psalm 102:12.
God is beneficial to all: People of the Lord, what are we going to render to the Lord for all His benefits towards us. Let us remember to obey Him and keep His statutes for all this goodness and kindness to us so as not to be ingrates Psalm 116: 12.
God will not condone rivalry: Do not be an ingrate like the gentiles who forget God their Creator and serve the idols/contrary spirits in order to provoke Him. Therefore, do not learn their ways, but always remember Your Creator and do His will Jeremiah 10:2.
Do not forget Your Creator that has been merciful to you and deliver you from your troubles/enemies. Show appreciation to your Creator and do not be among the ingrates who forget their Creator that satisfy them with goodness and rescue them from bondage Psalm 106:21.
God must not be neglected: Do not fail to remember the Rock of Ages who gave birth to you. Do not neglect or abandon Your Lord God Creator who fathered you during your existence so that it shall be well with you Deuteronomy 32: 18.
Foolish People Deny the Existence of God
Some people did not believe in the existence of the Lord God Our Creator. When an incident or accident happened, they usually say, it is Mother Nature that is at work. Most of them will even say, it is coincidental instead of acknowledging the existence of God.
Many
scientists agreed that it is particle/atom/matter that collided/exploded and
created human beings. This Big Bang theory is being taught at schools. I want
such scientists to know that they are fools. Satan has beclouded their minds
and the Scripture was fulfilled in their lives “for wisdom of this world is
foolishness to God….” 1 Corinthians
The fools say there is no God: Every soul that denies the existences of the Almighty God Our Creator is a fool. Such people are losers because they will lose in this world and the world to come. It is either they acknowledge the existence of God and remember Him in order to be a victor or deny His existence and forget about Him to become losers. The choice is theirs to make. It is written that “the fool has said in his heart, there is no God….” Psalm 14: 1, 53:1.
Conditions That Can Make You to Forget Your Creator
There are several conditions/situations that can make you to forget Your Creator, so beware.
Rich and comfortable: When you are rich and comfortable, be vigilant so that Satan will not use your wealth to make you to forget Your Creator. Be advised, there is risk associated with comfortable period.
When you realize your ambition, do not allow it to get into your head and make you to fail to remember Your Creator that has been merciful to you Deuteronomy 8: 13-14.
Excessive goodness: Do not forget Your Creator when you are financially buoyant and when you are satisfied with good things of life. Do not allow arrogance and pomposity make you to fail to remember Your Creator Hosea 13:6.
Free of problems: When God your Creator resolve your problems and your life is free of worries, do not forget Your Creator who gives you strength and hope in your darkest hours through the inspirational songs of rejoicing Job 35:10.
Success: When you are successful in all your undertakings give glory to God and do not forget your Creator. Do not arrogate your success to your might or power by saying in your heart “My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth”, but remember Your Creator who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers Deuteronomy 8: 17-18.

Topic: Remember your Creator – Part 2

We shall continue the study by mentioning various ways to remember your Creator.
Ways To Remember Your Creator
There are many ways of remembering your Creator, but we shall mention few.
Submit to your Creator: You can remember your Creator by serving and worshipping Him in humility, truth and spirit according to the passage that stated, “the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” John 4: 23. So humble yourself before your Heavenly Father who is the potter that created you because you are the clay and one of the works of His Hand Isaiah 64: 8.
Submit and surrender your life to the Lord God your Creator so that it shall be well with you. Remember that “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” James 4: 6. In addition, humble yourself; serve your Creator in truth and spirit, so that His grace shall abound in your life.
Do not neglect the work of God: Do not desert or abandon the work of your Creator; make sure His work does not suffer. Do everything within you power to propagate the Gospel and win souls into the kingdom of your heavenly Father. When God created Adam; He puts him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it. The primary reason you were created is to do the work of God your Creator and it is one of the best way to remember Him Genesis 2: 15. Be zealous for the work of God so that your Creator will know you did not forget Him.
Baptism and Holy Communion: Another good way to remember your Creator is to participate in Baptism and Holy Communion. Since Baptism and Holy Communion are among the pillars of Christianity. Your participation in them will prove that you did not forget your Creator. Your Creator will see you as an obedient child who follows His instruction whenever you participate in Baptism and Holy Communion 1 Corinthians 11: 24-25.
Do not be wise in your own eyes: Obey the statues of your Creator; keep His commandments and do not think that you are wiser or more knowledgeable than your Creator. Whatever you achieve in life, it is not by your might or power, but it is due to the grace of the Lord God your Creator. Therefore, do not allow pride to make you to think that you are right or holier than your Creator Job 4: 17. If you think you are smart and very sure of yourself, you have to be careful, else you will fall 1 Corinthians 10: 12.
Praises and Thanksgiving: If you are one of His saints/people, it is important to remember your Creator by singing joyful songs and dancing before Him. Praise Him and thank Him for everything He has done for you. Do not forget to honour His glorious name and give thanks at the remembrance or mentioning of His Holy name Psalm 30: 4. Do not forget the uncountable things that you have achieved through His name, therefore give thanks to His holy memorial name.
My people do not be ingrates by waiting until you get to the church before you praise and give thanks to your Creator. Wherever you are under the sky, you must utilize any opportunity you have to rejoice in the Lord God your Creator. Rejoice in Him for preserving your life to see another day in the land of the living and give thanks at the remembrance of His Holiness. Therefore, let the practicing (Believers) Christians be glad in the Lord and give thanks at the remembrance of His name that perform wonders in our lives Psalm 97: 12.
Show appreciation: Remember your Creator through songs of praise, in the morning, afternoon and night. Do not wait until you are in trouble before singing praise to Him. Meditate in your heart, let your spirit count His blessings in your life and name them one by one Psalms 77: 6.
Bless the Lord: If you did not forget your Creator, but remember to bless Him and His Holy name, then He too will reciprocate the gesture by giving you abundance of blessings. The scriptures say “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” Psalm 103: 1-2.
In fact it is all the works of the Lord, in all places of His dominion that must bless their Creator. The living and non-living things, on earth and in heaven are supposed to bless the Lord God our Creator Psalm 103: 22. For this reason, show appreciation and praise Him from the bottom of your heart for all His acts of kindness towards you.
Whatever your circumstance rejoice: Many people will be cheerful and dance at different occasions, nevertheless when they are in the presence of God in His church/temple they will never dance, instead they will be singing in mournful/gloomy tones. Such people should change and remember their Creator by rejoicing in His presence by clapping their hands, dancing and praising Him with musical instruments. It is your responsibility to rejoice in your Creator during the turbulent/tempestuous period and comfortable time Psalm 149: 2-3.
God Will Never Forget You
We shall discuss what you can do, so that the Lord God your Creator will not forget you.
Remember your Creator while alive: If you remember your Creator when you are still alive and do His will, then He will never forget you, but He shall remember you with good things of life. Thus, it is important to remember your Creator before death comes knocking because there is no repentance in the grave. So do it right now before it is too late Ecclesiastes 12: 6-7.
Glorify your Creator: Another way that will make your Creator not to forget you is for you to be glorifying Him at all times. When was the last time you glorified God or proclaim His name and works? Since you were created for His glory then you need to give Him glory in all your accomplishments. It is then that your Creator will not forget you Isaiah 43: 7.
If people forget you, your Creator will not: If people forget you and they did not pity your situation, your Creator will not forget you as long as you remember Him and do what is acceptable to Him. In fact, He will show you love and have compassion on you, if and only if, you submit to Him and do His will Isaiah 49: 15.
If
you are not a wicked person: Your Creator will remember you if you are not a
wicked person or an evil doer, for it is written that
He will erase the memory of the evil doers from under the sky. If you don’t
want God to forget you, then rejoice before Him and praise His Holy name. Give
thanks to Him and bless His wonderful name, else He will remove your name from
the Book of life and blot it out from everywhere under the sky Exodus
Week 51:
Topic: Remember your Creator…Part 3

This study will continue with prayers that you can offer during turbulent period when you think your creator has forgotten you.
Prayers During Turbulent Period
When you are heart-broken and things are not going smoothly for you, be careful so that the Devil will not use your situation to make you to forget your Creator. Satan is very cunning and he will use your predicament as stepping stone by deceiving you or make you to believe that your Creator did not care about you or He is not fair to you.
He will achieve his aim by blowing your problems out of proportion and belittle the efficacy of the Omnipotent power of your Creator. Remember that your Creator can be trusted to keep His words and He has promised that “He will never leave you nor forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5.
Therefore, whatever you are going through, please make sure that you did not forget your Creator who has the power to resolve your problems. Also, do not betray or violate His Covenant because of your condition Psalm 44:17.
Plead not to be forsaken: Jesus Christ our Lord who had the foreknowledge of what He will pass through said on the Cross “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” which means “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” If you find yourself in a precarious situation, plead with your Creator not to forsake or desert you Matthew 27: 46.
Plead not to be forgotten: Do not question your Creator, but plead with Him not to forget or abandon you. Pray to Him to neither allow your enemies to prevail nor make you walk around mourning because of the oppression of your adversaries Psalm 42:9.
Judgement
The judgement of the Lord God shall come upon every soul, community and Nation that forget their Creator. We believers have nothing to worry about since we did not forget our Creator; so none of the judgements to be mentioned will be our portion.
Ancestral sins will be remembered: The ancestral iniquities of every soul that forget their Creator will be remembered by the Lord in order to recompense them. These sins will not be wiped out, but they will be continually before the Lord, which will prompt Him to cut off their memory from the earth Psalm 109: 14-15. If you don’t want the Lord to always remember the sins of your forefathers and use them to make your name to disappear from human memory, do not forget your Creator.
The Bible stated that the face of the Lord is against the evil doers who forget their Creator “in kind and deeds” to cut off their remembrance from the earth Psalm 34:16. Start remembering your Creator from this moment, else, He will turn His face against you and erase your memory from this world.
Judgement without deliverance: People who ignore their Creator must pay close attention and understand His requirement. They must do what is right and acceptable to Him; else their lives will be destabilized or ruined with no one to help them. It is written “Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver” Psalm 50:22. Repent all you who forget your Creator before disaster comes upon you with no one to rescue you.
Severe punishment: Every soul who seeks the mediums, herbalists and idols for assistance instead of remembering the Lord God their Creator will be punished severely. The Bible stated that “I will punish her for the days of the Baals to which she burned incense. She decked herself with her earrings and jewelry, and went after her lovers; But Me she forgets” says the Lord Hosea 2:13. Do not consult the psychics, fortune tellers, the clairvoyants and the oracle or associate with them, but remember your Creator who created the people/things that you are consulting. He is the most powerful, merciful and considerate Being who will not allow the disobedient to go scot-free.
Their offerings will never please God: Many people think that they can bribe God with gifts and offerings instead of doing what is right in His presence. Such people are wrong because their Creator is not human that can be bribed to twist or distort judgement because He is the God of gods and Judge of judges.
First, God will not accept their offerings/gifts. Then He will remember their iniquity and punish them accordingly, so that Satan will have the chance to put them in spiritual bondage/slavery Hosea 8:13. Remember your Creator, do what is right before Him so that your offerings/gifts will be acceptable.
Hope will be destroyed: Since the papyrus cannot grow up without marsh and the reeds cannot flourish without water. While it is yet green and not cut down, it withers before any other plant. Such is the destiny of all who forget God their Creator and their hope shall perish Job 8: 11-13. It you don’t want your spiritual path to be ruined, if you don’t want your future to be hopeless, then remember your Creator today so that your hope will not evaporate.
Material gains will be useless: Many people have forgotten and turned away from the Lord God their Creator who can save them. They have forgotten the Rock who can hide them and gave them salvation. They plant finest plants which are the fruits of spirit, but blend them with contrary seedlings which are the works of the flesh. Though they germinate, but the harvest will be a heap of ruins and it will be as nothing that can neither save nor bring succor in the day of grief and desperate sorrow Isaiah 17:10-11.
Do not forget your Creator who is the Rock of your stronghold. Remember the passages that stated “do not learn the ways of the gentile….” Jeremiah 10:2 and “….you cannot serve God your Creator with mammon” Luke 16:13. Therefore, do not blend serving and worshipping of the Lord your Creator with your culture, tradition and doctrines that are against the teachings of the Bible. Else the material gains from such transaction will not save you in the day of grief or if/when death comes knocking.
Weeping and sorrow: Every soul that choose crooked paths instead of the righteous path and forget the Lord God their Creator will have weeping and desolation as their portions Jeremiah 3:21. If you don’t want weeping and desolation to dominate your home/community, do not forget your Creator.
They will become vagabond: “Therefore, I will scatter them like stubble that passes away by the wind of the wilderness. This is your lot, the portion of your measures from Me” says the Lord because you have forgotten Me and trusted in falsehood” Jeremiah 13: 24-25.
Fire will devastate their abode: Fire will destroy their homes and the work of the hands of every soul who forget his/her Creator unless they repent quickly Hosea 8:14.
Their land will be desolated: People who forget their Creator have stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in pathways instead of highway. Therefore, their land will become desolate, a monument to their stupidity. All who pass by will be astonished and will shake their heads in amazement Jeremiah 18:15-16.
They
will inherit hell: The wicked together with the nations that forget God their
Creator shall be turned into hell Psalm
Week 52:
Topic: Remember Your Creator – Part 4

The final segment of this study is the commandments of the Lord God our Creator and the benefits that can be derived when you remember your Creator.
The Commandments Of The Lord
Due to time constraint, we will only mention few of the commandments of the Lord concerning the remembrance of our Creator.
Remember your Creator while you are still alive: It is the duty of every work of the hand of the Lord God (both living and non-living things) to remember Him, most especially mankind that He loved so much and gave us the dominion over world.
If humans fail to remember the Lord God their Creator, we are setting a bad precedent for other creatures to follow. As for we human beings, we can only remember our Creator when we are still alive. So it is better for us to praise and thank our Creator when we are still alive. We must fear Him and obey His statues when we still have the opportunity. The Bible stated that “For in death there is no remembrance of You, in the grave who will give You thanks” Psalm 6: 5. God kept you alive for a purpose, for you to always remember Him because the dead cannot remember Him. Therefore, start remembering your Creator before it is too late.
Be obsessed with your Creator: Be preoccupied with the remembrance of your Creator; fill your mind and body with the remembrance of the Lord God your Creator. Your heartfelt desire must be for the name of your Creator and the desire of your soul must be for the remembrance of your Creator Isaiah 26: 8. Be obsessed with your Creator so that it shall be well with you in the land of the living.
Honour and respect your Creator: Wherever you may be under the sky, let your actions, reactions, and utterances honour your Creator. Make sure that your conduct will neither reproach your Creator nor make people to blaspheme His glorious Name. It is your obligation to worship Him in truth and in spirit; you must bow down, kneel or prostrate to honour Him whenever you are in the presence of the Lord God your Creator Psalm 95: 6. Do not belittle your Creator at any time, but regard Him in all your activities. Honour and respect Him at all occasions, magnify and glorify Him before the gentiles throughout the world Isaiah 17: 7. Never dishonour or disrespect your Creator, but let your eyes and soul have respect for the Holy One of Israel your Creator.
Fear of humans: Since God your Creator is the One who comforts you, then do not be afraid of humans who will die; do not be scared of mortals who wither like grass and disappear. Make sure the fear of human and their works will not make you to forget the Lord your Creator. Also do not live in fear all day long because of the anger of your oppressors who make everything hard and unbearable for you. Though, they are ready to ruin your life and destroy your journey, it will come to an end abruptly Isaiah 51: 12-13. The fear of your benefactors, friends, neighbors, colleagues and employer must never make you to forget your Creator.
Vanity must not make you to forget God: Beware, do not allow the vanity of this world to make you stray, else you will forget the Lord God your Creator who rescue you from your adversaries and solve all your problems Deuteronomy 6: 12.
You
must neither mock nor oppress the poor: Anyone who oppresses the poor taunts and
insults his/her Creator, however anyone who is nice and kind to the needy
honours and remembers his/her Creator. It is written that “He who oppresses the
poor reproaches his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy on the needy” Proverbs
Likewise “He who mocks the poor reproaches his Maker, He who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished” Proverbs 17: 5. Therefore remember your Creator, and you must neither oppress nor mock the poor.
You cannot hide from God: The eye of the Lord God is going to and fro scanning the surface of the earth. Nothing is hidden from His presence, even if you are in a secured bunker (a reinforced underground shelter) or at the bottom of the sea. “Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?” says the Lord “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord Jeremiah 23: 24. Since the Lord is everywhere in the heavens and earth to the extent that nobody can hide from Him, then do the right thing by remembering your Creator.
Benefits
There are many benefits to be obtained by every soul that remember their Creator but we will mention few.
Names will be written in the Book of Remembrance: The following benefits will be accrued to anyone who remembers his/her Creator.
· God will pay attention and answer their prayers.
· Their names will be written in the Book of Remembrance Malachi 3: 16.
God shall provide for your needs: God will pamper and take care of you; He will protect and provide for your needs. He will always be there for you anytime you need Him because He is your husband. Isaiah 54: 5.
Authority of Word: Whenever you ask of something from the Lord, you will receive. He will reveal the future to you and Authority of Word shall reside in your life Isaiah 45: 11.
God will not forget you: You will neither fail in your undertakings nor be defeated by foes. Evil shall not overcome you and you will never be shaken, but you will be in everlasting remembrance before the Lord your Creator Psalm 112: 6.
You will become Chief Cornerstone: The glory of God shall be visible in your existence and every soul that has limited you in life will bow down before you. Those people who have underrated the power of God that you are serving shall be put to shame publicly. Your case will be “the stone which the builders rejected, has become the Chief Cornerstone” Psalm 118: 22.
Your memory will be a blessing: Your memory will be blessed and your remembrance shall be a source of blessing. Whenever people recollect your activities and righteousness, they will be filled with gladness and happy memories Proverbs 10: 7.
Finally if you did not forget your Creator, but remember Him at every occasion during your existence, then you will be among God’s special possession. He will recognize you publicly and openly declare you to be His peculiar treasure/jewel. In addition, He will spare and preserve your life from the wrath and the hour of panic that is coming on the world Malachi 3: 17.
The
Seal: Job
If you will prepare your heart to remember your Creator, you would forget your misery, and remember it as waters that have passed away.
